Kyusi Kafe is a quietly tucked-away coffee spot on the second floor of Suntrust Capitol Plaza in Diliman, Quezon City. This café leans into a cozy, loft-like atmosphere with warm lighting and a modest seating capacity spread between the ground level and a loft area upstairs. Its location, somewhat hidden inside the building and accessible only by signing in at the main entrance, means it’s not the kind of place you stumble upon by accident—regulars and determined seekers of a calm coffee break will feel most at home here.

The café’s vibe is laid-back and well-suited for working or studying, thanks in part to the generous availability of power sockets and a quiet environment that encourages focus. The interior design has a neat, spacious feel without being sterile, offering spots for lone visitors or small groups to settle in comfortably. The window seating invites a bit of casual people-watching, reinforcing its role as a low-key spot to pause from the city’s busyness.

Kyusi Kafe’s coffee offers a middle ground: approachable with decent flavors rather than bold or extravagant interpretations. Drinks like their Spanish latte and iced matcha latte come across as straightforward, with careful attention from staff to tweak sweetness and strength according to personal taste. The matcha powder, for instance, is serviceable rather than standout, reflecting a practical but unpretentious approach to their menu. Prices are reasonable, adding to the sense of this being a neighborhood café where locals can return often without fuss.

One practical highlight is that the café opens early—at 7 AM—making it a reliable choice for those needing a coffee fix before the workday kicks in, especially in a district where early openers can be hard to find. The staff’s friendly and attentive nature adds to the comfortable atmosphere, ensuring visitors don’t feel like just another face in the crowd.

Overall, Kyusi Kafe fits best for anyone looking for a quiet morning coffee or a calm corner to get some work done in Diliman. It’s not flashy or overly trendy, but it provides a solid, welcoming spot away from busy streets where you can enjoy a decent cup, charge up gadgets, and spend some uncomplicated time either alone or with a few friends.

The place and service are great. I tried their Spanish latte—it was decent. I'll definitely be back to try their other drinks.

Beautiful place though a bit hard to find. Spacious and the interior design is nice. Lots of sockets so good for working or studying. I tried the iced matcha latte which was okay, pretty decent. The matcha powder they used was Little Retail which is an okay powder. Nothing special about the matcha but not bad. The staff also asked me about matcha preference (if i wanted it stronger or sweeter) so I like that you can customize the taste. For the powder they use, I think it's a little pricy at 220 but I think it's worth it if you plan on staying in the cafe. Staff are friendly and quick with orders.

Tucked away on the second floor of Capitol Plaza in QC, Kyusi Cafe might take a moment to find as there aren't any signs leading you directly to it. Once you're at the top of the stairs, make a left, and you'll spot it by the two Kyusi shirts taped to its front. Inside, it's a cozy spot that can seat about 15 people downstairs and another 8-10 in the loft area. They've got power sockets available, which is always handy. The service here is a real standout, a big plus! The coffee is enjoyable too. One thing to note is that it might feel a little hot at times, even with the air conditioning running. However, what's really great is that it's pet-friendly, so you and your furry friend can comfortably hang out. It sounds like a welcoming spot that you and your dog will enjoy, and it's a place worth returning to if you're in the neighborhood.

Hidden gem for good coffee (especially if you’re used to Australian grade coffee), quiet chat and people watching by the window. Space is cozy and staff are very friendly and attentive. You will need to go through the main entrance of the building and sign in before you make your way to the second floor where the cafe is located. It’s a stylish loft space with warm light. We ordered an oat milk latte, an iced Spanish latte and a slice of ube cake.

There's a lot to love about this place. First of all, I'm just so happy to find another cafe in the area that's actually open at 7 AM lol perfect for that much-needed coffee fix earlier in the morning. Menu items are also reasonably priced, and I love how they have many offerings! Definitely a breath of fresh air from what I usually find in other cafes in the area. Great service also from the baristas, thanks to ate and kuya! When I was there, the owners were also there and kindly asked the customers for feedback. This is something that I so appreciate, it just shows that they truly value the quality of service that they provide and seek ways to improve if there are areas that need to be made better

Anyone who wants na tahimik ang place to study or work, this is for you. May sockets naman and tago ang place. Hot and iced matcha were good. I found the food servings a little small for its price. Sana dumami yung offer nilang food. Service-wise, good.
